The Pharmaline Malaria qPCR Screening Kit contains a primer-probe design specific to the 18S rRNA genes of five parasites that cause malaria in humans. The primer- probe design was based on a conserved region common to the 5 parasites. The kit works with total DNA/Genomic DNA isolated from suspicious blood.
